2 States is a romantic comedy drama movie directed by Abhishek Varman and is based on the 2009 novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. Starring Arjun Kapoor as Krish Malhotra and Alia Bhatt as Ananya Swaminathan in lead roles, the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar.
2 States is a story about a journey of one such couple, Krish and Ananya. They meet at the IIM-Ahmedabad, fall in love with each other, and decide to get married.
