Salman Khan's latest film 'Jai Ho' is likely to be exempted from taxes in Gujarat soon. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has already exempted the film from taxes.
This comes nearly a fortnight after Khan met Gujarat's chief minister Narendra Modi during the kite festival. A senior bureaucrat in the Gujarat government confirmed the news and revealed that they had cleared instructions from the chief minister's office to give Jai Ho exemptions in taxes.
Khan sharing the dias with Modi created quite the stir with the chief minister even wishing the star on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi. However Khan, who is known for his carefree attitude, had treaded carefully when it came to endorsing the BJP's PM candidate.
Well, although the film failed at box-office, but seems like Salman is leaving no stone to promote his humanity message that is being shown in the film.  Show less
