Fox Star Studios has partnered with Dinesh Vijan-Saif Ali Khan's Illuminati Films to present Homi Adajania's bilingual comedy film, Finding Fanny Fernandez. The ensemble film will bring together Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor in lead. However, a leading tabloid reports that the title role in the film will not be played by Deepika Padukone! Whoops! Wondering who is playing then the title role of Fanny in the film?
Well, it's none other than the new talent, Anjali Patil. Whoooaa!! Seems like new bird in the tinsel town is showing her wings!
Meanwhile, Finding Fanny Fernandes is set in Goa and revolves around a man's search for his childhood love, Stefanie (Fanny). The bunch of friends goes on a road trip with him to find her, and reportedly, the character played by Anjali has a dreamy vibe and a touch of magic realism.
