Bollywood films copying from Hollywood is old news. Now, the latest of copying is posters!
Mohit Suri has already defended himself and denied all reports about 'Ek Villain' being inspired by Korean film 'I Saw The Devil', and now its recently released poster is not an original creation.
Yes, by the looks of it, this one seems to be a copy of poster of Face/Off, a Hollywood film, which starred Nicolas Cage and John Travolta in the lead roles.
Just like the Face/Off poster, where you can see John and Nicolas' face on each side, here we can see Sidharth and Riteish's face in Ek Villain poster.
One would think that Bollywood producers might now stop plagiarism; there are still some hacks...err...producers who not only copy the entire plot, but also dialogues, characters and even lift an entire scene.
We hope the team will realize that before they come up with their next poster release.
