The first look teaser-poster of YRF's Mardaani is out in stores. Featuring Rani Mukerji in lead, the actress is seen here playing a tough cop.
The poster shows a tough looking Rani Mukerji, with a pistol in hand at a door, dressed in a black kurta and jeans, after bashing up a guy who is seen in the background.
Well, going by the first look, we can have a look at the two attention-grabbing sides.
Firstly, with no male in attendance (except for the bashed up goon) we can make out that the movie follows the 2014 trend of female centric film such as 'Queen', 'Revolver Rani', 'Dedh Ishqiya', 'Gulaab Gang', and so on.
Secondly, it seems that Rani Mukerji, who lately married YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra is in no mood to add her husband's surname to her name as now. Well, she is Mardaani indeed!
The film, where 'every war is personal', is all set to release on August 22, and is directed by noted filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar who last worked with Rani in 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag'.
