Expensive, isn't it, just for a trip!
An unnamed nut case...err...investor paid $1 million to go to moon with Leonardo DiCaprio.
According to sources, the Wolf of Wall Street actor offered the trip at a star-studded auction in Cannes, for amFAR, the nonprofit supporting AIDS research.
He wasn't even the first person to sign up for the big trip with Leo. He conned...oops...sorry convinced someone last year at the same event to pony up even more for the space trip.
Last year's nutter...err...winner was Russian real estate mogul Vasily Klyukin, who paid $1.5 million to theoretically go into outer space with Leo.
However, the news pointed out that the private space plane is still being tested. In the meantime, Leo keeps signing people up.
So, we think it was a great idea and has surely raised a fortune for a very worthy cause.
