Salman Khan's meet with Narendra Modi had undoubtedly ripened several seeds of controversies. In fact, threading it further, Modi's interference also counts to be one of the reasons why Jai Ho hasn't fared well at the box office! But well, ever wondered why Salman personally flew down to Gujarat and meet Modi right before Jai Ho's release? Well, here's the answer! Going by reports, we hear that Salman intended to make Jai Ho a tax free film and hence probed Gujarat Chief Minister Modi to receive an approval on this tax free petition! In fact, having already kept the ticket prices low, Salman wished to further reduce the tax amount and pull in maximum footfalls at theatres! However, having not come out with any of the good results, seems like Modi has still not given a nod to Salman's Jai Ho.
