Chetan Bhagat launched his much awaited book Half Girlfriend, and even before the book was launched, it was decided that it will be made into a Bollywood screenplay. Directed by Mohit Suri, the Bollywood adaptation will also see Bhagat debut as a producer!

We all know that, so? Well, now we hear that Kriti Sanon has been roped in to play the female lead. While the buzz was that Alia Bhatt was also a strong contender for this role, we thought Sanon showed enough promise in her debut Heropanti to be bagging a role this crucial. More power to her!

While Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh seem to be unavailable for the project, a new name is doing the rounds as the possible protagonist for ‘Half Girlfriend’. It’s none other than Varun Dhawan!
If things work out, we think the Kriti and Varun pair will be something to look out for. What do you think?  Show less
