Going by the recent trend, leading filmmakers of the Bollywood industry have time and again touted their major plans on remaking an existing film, be it by borrowing a blockbuster film from the yesteryears or by attempting to remake a regional film. Having already seen quite a few, such films in the past years let's specifically check out on the Hindi remakes of 2013.

• Himmatwala

Directed by Sajid Khan, Himmatwala was the first remake attempt that released on the 29th of March, 2013. This action comedy venture was an official remake of the 1983 film of the same name. In fact, having retained the main backdrop of the story, this reprisal version simply improvised on the style, by boarding in lead actors Ajay Devgn and Tamanaah.
