Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, it's a sequel to the 2010 black comedy thriller film 'Ishqiya' starring again Naseeruddin Shah as Iftikhaar, also known as Khalujaan, and Arshad Warsi as Razzaakh Hussain also known as Babban, in lead roles here.
Khalujaan and Babban, the two romantic thieves, are back in Dedh Ishqiya with their romantic adventures. And this time, love will take them through the SEVEN STAGES OF LOVE, with the beautiful and dangerous Madhuri Dixit as Begum Para and Huma Qureshi as Munniya.
The film also stars Vijay Raaz as Jaan Mohammad others in their respective roles. Amrita Puri will be seen doing a cameo appearance here, whereas Shraddha Kapoor will apparently be seen doing her first ever item song in the movie.
