Gulzar Saab Gets Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Legendary poet, lyricist, writer and director Gulzar, born as Sampooran Singh Kalra, has been chosen for the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2013, for his contribution to Indian cinema. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India's highest award in cinema given annually by the Government of India for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema.
