Seems like the Sports Illustrated model has followed in the footsteps of Michelle Obama, Leona Lewis and Jada Pinkett-Smith by taking a selfie to get the hashtag BringBackOurGirls trending!
She went topless to join the social media campaign by demanding Islamic terrorists to return hundreds of kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls.
What raised people's ire is not Irina's environment in the campaign, but the fact that she was photographed holding BringBackOurGirls sign while topless! Whoa!
Needless to say, many have taken offense at the mage, which she posted on Instagram.
A number of observers blasted her decision to pose nude as ignorant and tasteless, while others praised Irina for doing her part to bring attention to the Nigerian situation, claiming that any publicity for the campaign is worthwhile.
