The makers of much-anticipated film Kochadaiiyaan, starring the superstar Rajinikanth in lead, have finally announced the release date of it. The film will now release worldwide on April 11, this year.

The movie has been shot using Photorealistic Performance Capture technology, which was used in making Hollywood blockbuster Avatar, and will release in diverse languages such as Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Bengali and Punjabi. It will be screened in India and overseas in more than 6000 screens. Moreover, an English version will also be released internationally.

The film has been directed by Rajini's daughter Soundarya R. Ashwin and it also stars Deepika Padukone, Shobana and R. Sharath Kumar among others.
