The 31-year-old Kapoor lad will be seen playing an 18-year-old detective in his upcoming movie 'Jagga Jasoos'. It's a detective film targeting children too, and reportedly RK has also lost a lot of weight to look the part.

'Jagga Jasoos' marks the debut of Picture Shuru Productions, which is a joint venture of Ranbir Kapoor and director Anurag Basu. The actor will be seen playing an 18-year-old desi Sherlock Holmes in the film, who gradually ages through its series.

A source close to the actor says that Ranbir is very much kicked about playing a teenaged sleuth, where he even had discussed his role with Anurag at length over the last couple of months.

Ranbir Kapoor will be seen romancing with his alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif in the film. We wonder, if she would also play an 18-year-old girl?  Show less
