Remember we told you Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was the reason behind Sonam Kapoor getting a lead role in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo? But the truth is the Kick actor wasn’t comfortable romancing Sonam in a love story.
She said: People believe I’ve got this film because Salman and dad are good friends. Actually, that’s one reason I wasn’t going to get it. Mr. Khan said the decision of choosing an actress is never his, but still everyone say it’s his decision.
Also note before Sonam was announced as the leading lady for the movie, there were rumors of Deepika Padukone having signed for Sooraj Barjatya’s next.
Well, we really dunno who to believe, but we definitely think their onscreen pair may look…ahem…different, no?
We don’t know about you, but we are definitely waiting for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with bated breath.
