High Alert in Rajouri-Poonch as Budha Amarnath Yatra Enters Day 2

Rajouri, J&K: Multi-layer security arrangements have been put in place along the Rajouri-Poonch National Highway (NH-144A) on the second day of the Budha Amarnath Yatra.
The highway connecting Rajouri and Poonch has been covered with heightened security deployment to ensure the safe and smooth movement of Budha Amarnath pilgrims travelling between Jammu, Rajouri, and Poonch.

Personnel from the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, CISF, and other security agencies are maintaining high alertness at important locations and along the highway.
