On 01.09.2025, passenger Mohammad Mokhtar Alam – bound for Gaya – collapsed in the Pre-SHA area of
@DelhiAirport
(T1) and fell unconscious.

Showing exemplary alertness & presence of mind, SI/Exe Verendra Singh promptly administered CPR, reviving and stabilizing the passenger until doctors arrived.

Doctors provided initial treatment at the airport and later referred him to hospital for further care. He is now reported to be in stable condition. Credit: CISF  Show less
